ABSTRACT
The article presents a survey released by the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) in the U.S. on the sense of urgency by the Americans about HIV/AIDS as a national problem. It shows an essential share on public's misconception about the diseases. Further, it shows 18% of those who do not know that there is no treatment for AIDS while 24% believe or are unsure if there is available vaccine for HIV infection prevention.
