The article discusses the Section 163.1 of the Environmental Protection Act in the U.S. It notes that the section allows the justices of the peace to authorize investigators to interrogate defendants like an inspector. However, it does not give authority to the justices of peace to order or compel a defendant to answer a question or produce a document.
