ABSTRACT
In this study, informations and opinions of students teaching Atatürk University about Genetic Engineering Applied and transgenic foods were determined. 1374 students form Atatürk University and Bayburt University take part in the research. Collected data were evaluated by using SPSS to reckon frequencies and percentages. 84.6% of the students want to be controlled censorship. 85.7% of them desire to be labelled such foods. From given replies, majority of the students' attitudes have opposed to transgenic food. But, Genetic Engineering Applies of Medical (71.4%) and Agricultural (55.4%) were found usefully. Reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach-alpha value was calculated as 0,66.
