ABSTRACT
The article reports on a partnership between Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) and fashion retailer Zara for the development of urban-inspired menswear Collection by Streetmuse by MTV in 2009. The direct-to-retail (DTR) retail deal will run from 2009 to March 2010. Over 1,000 Zara stores sold Streetmuse by MTV. More than 400 locations use two separated shop window displays. The Zara deal is said to be the most significant European deal to have been signed.
