ABSTRACT
The article looks at the growth of the farmers markets in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the Las Vegas Valley, two new locations have been opened namely the Fremont Farmers Market and a Roadhouse Farmers Market on Boulder Highway and Sunset Road. Ginger Johnson, a retired casino worker, remarks on their decision to open a farmers market. By collaborating with restaurants, Johnson's company helps farmers make sure they don't have to take their produce back home.
