ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on developing one's organisation development (OD) skills. The OD practitioner is advised to help organisations define their agenda rather than be reactive to needs. Any intervention by the OD starts with gathering and assessing data to decide on how to intervene by using an action research process. The need for an OD practitioner to be confident in his ability to communicate the outcomes in a comprehensible format is also cited.
