Country Report
The article reports on an economic outlook for Estonia for 2009, particularly its debt. It is forecasted that gross external debt of the country will fall in the said period because of global deleveraging. In the private sector, businesses are reducing industrial output to adjust to lower demand. It is predicted that government debt will increase if the country is given a multilateral loan to stabilize the economy.
