ABSTRACT
The article reports that NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution is planning a fall off-network launch for its comedy series "The Office." NBC's flagship comedy has been sold to local broadcast stations that represent more than 93% of the U.S., including each of the top 50 markets. A cable syndication sale to TBS two years ago and other clearances has brought the off-network revenue for the initial syndication of the program to around $3 million an episode.
