This section offers news briefs on the financial and insurance meeting industry in the U.S. Green-meeting standards are being created by the Accepted Practices Exchange in cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the ASTM. The U.S. government will be requiring U.S. citizens re-entering the U.S. at sea or land ports to have a passport, passport card or other travel document approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The MPI Meeting Matters Webinar Series has been launched by the Meeting Professionals International.
