ABSTRACT
The article presents an analysis of the services offered by several travel agencies as evaluated by a mystery shopper and offers tips for the agencies. It rated the services offered by Thomas Cook Group PLC at 47% as it lacked in offering quick and satisfactory information. Hays Travel scored 91% for its helpful service. It also presents tips for travel agents on promoting their products effectively. It is suggested that the agents should explain the extra costs of excursions to solo travelers.
