European prices set for more increases in 2010

The article discusses that the price of European holidays could increase by as much as 10 percent in 2010. This prediction has been made by Carl Michel, chief executive of Holidaybreak PLC. He revealed that many tour operators have increased prices for the summer of 2009 based on a favourable euro-sterling exchange rate. He also stated that, if the pound continues to struggle against the euro, operators will be forced to hedge for summer 2010 brochures based on a less favourable exchange rate.
