ABSTRACT
The article presents a study that aims to discuss the impact of pollution and noise on the mortality of cardiovascular system. Results of the study show that cardiovascular mortality is associated with traffic intensity having a highest related risk at 95% for ischaemic heart disease. Moreover, these associations can never be altered by any adjustment for traffic noise.
