ABSTRACT
The article discusses art's original form and purpose from prehistoric times, according to new findings in the 1990s. It states that despite early dates of image making, humans have remained susceptible to pattern, repetition and regularity for a longer time. It informs that the factor of sequential originality can be clarified by studying the drawings of children. Researchers assume that early man learned to draw as children learn to draw and pictures all over the world prove this assumption.
