The article reports on the impact of recession in Texas. In 2009, the state has been anticipated to encounter a financial meltdown and an increase in energy prices. If these scenarios happen, it will result to labor force reduction and a cut on economic growth rate. However, a recovery has been projected to occur in 2010 and 2011.
