The article announces that viking mine of Peabody Energy Corp., has received 2008 Excellence in Mining and Reclamation Award from Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Utah Division of Oil, Gas & Mining, Abandoned Mine Reclamation Program, Cottonwood Wash Reclamation Project has recieved the Western Regional Award, and Patriot Coal Corp., has received Safety Awards from Kentucky Department for Natural Resources.
