ABSTRACT
The article considers the public bashing of bonuses for American Insurance Group (AIG) by U.S. President Barack Obama, Christopher Dodd and Barney Frank. The author refers to three articles on "Wall Street Journal" on March 19, 2009 to highlight the alleged hypocrisy of this campaign. It reports on the campaign money received by Obama and Dodd from AIG, the authorship of Dodd of an amendment regarding the payment of AIG bonuses and the payment of bonuses to bailed out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
