ABSTRACT
The article specifies the therapeutic uses and health benefits of N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC). NAC is an essential treatment for bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, asthma, pneumonia, otitis media and chronic sinusitis. NAC is primarily used to reduce mucus strands that eventually lead to reduced viscosity and congestion.
