ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on making authentic apologies. An understanding of the wrongdoing from the point of the view of the person injured may contribute to the sincerity of an apology. Conveying remorse over the wrongdoing and a commitment to not doing it again help make an apology authentic, since repetitive apologies for the same conduct are meaningless and offensive.
