ABSTRACT
A company profile of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts Inc. (BCBSMA), a non-profit health insurance company, is presented. A SWOT analysis is provided with information on the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The analysis shows that BCBSMA could benefit from the uninsured population and its partnership with Google Health, although it could be negatively affected by the managed care industry.
