The article presents seven lessons for leaders charged with leading through a crisis. These include facing reality; facing the worse; building up cash; asking staff for help and ideas, and gaining their commitment to painful corrective actions; volunteering oneself for sacrifices; taking advantage of the crisis to get things done; and being aggressive in the marketplace.
