ABSTRACT
Laser pulses with 0.9-mJ energy and 4.8-fs duration have been generated from a kHz femtosecond Ti:Sapphire laser. The spectral broadening, covering from 450 nm to 950 nm, was induced by incorporating a differentially pumped hollow-fiber pulse compressor.
