The article discusses the Hungarian entrepreneurship and the success of the 1956 Hungarian refugees on the field in Canada. It illustrated the elements of entrepreneurship in relation to the experiences of five 1956 Hungarian refugees who became successful entrepreneurs. It compares the 1956 Hungarian refugees to a highly entrepreneurial ethnic group, the Cubans. It also analyzes Roger Waldinger's interactive model of ethnic business development in the context of the 1956 Hungarian refugees and discusses opportunities for Hungarian ethnic entrepreneurship research.
