Business Journal (Central New York);5/23/2008, Vol. 22 Issue 21, p2B
The article discusses the application of global positioning system and Lidar technologies in business enterprises in Syracuse, New York. Dana Piwinski, the program development director at the Institute for the Application of Geospatial Technology (IAGT) explains the use of GPS and Lidar in making wine. IAGT, a nonprofit group works on how to apply geospatial information technology in different sectors. IAGT develops a tools that wineries may use in its production.
