ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs on announcements made at the International Wireless Communications Exposition (IWCE). Avtec revealed its P25-based digital fixed station interface that allows end-to-end digital connections between dispatch consoles and land mobile radios. Motorola unveiled its ASTRO 25 Express system which is a singe-site, P25 trunked system designed for ports, universities, prisons and public safety organizations. Ritron introduced its Loud Mouth VHF/UHF system that allows two-way wireless communication in public address systems.
