ABSTRACT
Several photographs showing global meltdown from glaciers taken during the Extreme Ice Survey (EIS), a multiyear, National Geographic Society-funded expedition, including one depicting the remnants of the Vatnajokull Glacier wash up on Iceland's shore, another showing massive iceberg broken off from the Greenland Ice Sheet and another showing a landscape of miniature penitentes, created by melting processes that are thinning the Andes' glaciers.
