ABSTRACT
The article reports on the impact of the online scheme of rating the doctors by the patients in the U.S. The growing trends of the intersection between medicine and web sites have become a phenomenon which lead to the proposal of the nondefamation program. Zagat Survey LLC has teamed up with WellPoint Inc. to provide physicians with ratings that come from the verified patients to encourage the doctors to effectively respond in the negative feedbacks they received.
