Viewpoint: The market for art books in France

The article discusses the implication of a survey conducted by Bertrand Legendre and Corinne Abensour, information specialists from the Laboratoire des Sciences de l'Informatoion et de la Communication at the Université de Paris, France, during the art book event "Mai du livre d'art" held at the city in May 2008. It states that the research aimed at the response of the public towards art books, with emphasis on the attitude of art book users and those involve in the art books industry. The importance of the said event is also noted.
