ABSTRACT
The article reports that Time Warner Cable Inc. has shelved plans to charge its customers based on the amount of Internet traffic they generate. The step was reportedly taken by the company in response to the anger showed by customers and other critics. Chief executive officer (CEO), Glenn Britt said that there is a big misunderstanding on their plans to roll out additional tests on consumption-based billing. However, consumer groups have reacted with delight over their step.
