The article discusses the ideal organizational structure or culture for libraries that are experiencing rapid change. The author comments on the librarians' intriguing unified responses to the exercise in a leadership workshop for the British Columbia Library Association. He believes that librarians know the cultures and organizational structures that work best for libraries to thrive but they need help in finding the right way to go in times of financial crises.
