ABSTRACT
The article reports that payment transactions for Wells Fargo Merchant Services LLC, a joint venture formed by the credit card processing company First Data Corp. and Wells in 1993, will continue to be processed by First Data. According to Michael Capellas, the chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of the company, a five-year extension was signed by the two companies on December 31, 2008. It also informs that First Data has recently ended its agreement with Chase Paymentech Solutions LLC.
