ABSTRACT
The article focuses on strobilurins. These are fungicides generated by fungi to protect themselves from attack by other fungi. Unlike any other fungicide, this chemical disrupts the electron flow pathway in the mitochondria of the antagonistic fungus. The mode of action of two strobilurins, Heritage® from Syngenta and Compass® from Bayer is discussed.
