ABSTRACT
This article reports on the move of the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) to renew its contract with the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) to offset its 2009 carbon footprint with BEF Solar Offsets. The SEPA will offset carbon dioxide with the solar offset purchase, mitigating the climate impact of its operations with investment in clean, renewable, solar energy. Julia Hamm, executive director of the SEPA, explained the move.
