ABSTRACT
The article reports on the findings of an implantation study conducted in Japan, which examined the pathophysiologic features of thin endometrium. Japanese researchers found that thin endometria are characterized by high blood flow impedance of the uterine radial artery (RA), lower expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), poor epithelial growth, and poor vascular development. The study included 96 infertile women with normal menstrual cycles and who were 23-44 years old.
