This study examines factors related to teen sexual activities and individual characteristic factors and their relations to gender and ethnicity before and after the implementation of a program intervention targeting changes in those factors for junior and senior high school students. Seven factors were validated with pretest (N = 670) and posttest (N = 637) data. There were differences between pre and post tests in dealing with peer pressure and perceiving risk perception. Also, the program was received better by females than males, regardless of race. This study provides valuable information about the validity of individual characteristic factors related to sex.
