ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the finding of market research company IC Insights regarding the options for semiconductor industry amid global financial crises. According to the research company, strong demand will return starting in the second half 2009. According to IC Insights' update to its 2009 forecast, the negative factors that have damaged business in the first half of 2009 will bring favorable environment for the integrated circuit (IC) industry in the second half of the year.
