ABSTRACT
The article reports on the success of the finale of the U.S. television drama "ER" on National Broadcasting Co. Inc.'s television station. The television drama garnered an average of 15.4 million viewers for its two-hour finale, closing with the biggest 18-49 rating for a drama series finale since the success of Fox Television Stations Inc.'s "The X-Files" in 2002. The show's finale posted an impressive 88% increase over its final season avarege rating of 3.2/9.
