ABSTRACT
The article reports on the installation of HiLoad MVD from Remora ASA to Stena Drilling's new ice-class DrillMAX drillship called Stena DrillMAX Ice in Norway. It states that the aim of the installation of Remora's HiLoad MVD is to improve the ability of Stena DrillMAX Ice to operate in shallow waters and harsh arctic environment. Moreover, the features of HiLoad MVD, as well as its difference to HiLoad DP are discussed.
