The article recommends several strategies for solving the problem of absenteeism. The need to identify main problems to design and implement an appropriate strategy is cited. Another strategy involves removing any safety hazards to eliminate the problem of sick building syndrome. Organisations are also advised to communicate their policies on absenteeism and show there commitment to them.
