Most senior teams 'underperforming.'

The article discusses a joint Harvard/Hay Group research project which found that most senior teams are underperforming in spite of their potential to contribute to their organisations. The research discovered that only one in five senior teams were outstanding, while a third were mediocre. A statement was issued by professor Richard Hackman on the possibility of creating the conditions that greatly enhance that likelihood that a team will be effective.
