Embrace business benefits of diversity

The article reports on the findings of a research conducted by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) regarding the approach of businesses in Great Britain to diversity. The institute developed its diversity sophistication index which enables it to evaluate the progress made by businesses. It recorded an average sophistication score of 52 out of 146, indicating that businesses are missing the business benefits of diversity.
