The article urges the U.S. government to use high-quality video games to attract recruits and train sailors as they do for army recruits. The service's plan to invest in video games follows the successful development and distribution of the widely popular "America's Army", released to the public for free in 2002. It says that more than ever it is imperative for the Navy to adapt gaming technology as America's younger generations learn and communicate differently from their predecessors.
