The article discusses the significant role played by Janet De Boer at Australian Association of Fiber Textile Arts Ltd. (TAFTA) in Australia. She was among a crew that planned a forum at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, where she was teaching. In 1981, under her effort, the magazine focused on textile art in Australia was launched. Soon, TAFTA became the dominant interest of De Boer.
