ABSTRACT
The article reports on 60 CSeries aircraft ordered by Deutsche Lufthansa AG from Bombardier Aerospace in 2009. The CSeries, which is a 110- and 130-seat aircraft is an upgrade version of Bombardier's C110 model. Powered by PurePower PW1000G energy-efficient engine, the aircraft requires 20 percent less fuel compared to present regional planes.
