ABSTRACT
The article reports that the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is continuing to develop the first standard for high-performance, green commercial buildings in the U.S. ASHRAE's partners in the effort are the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and the U.S. Green Building Council. ASHRAE president Bill Harrison comments on the Standard Committee decision to dismiss all of the members of the committee.
