ABSTRACT
The article addresses the continued decline of Latvian inflation in February 2009. Headline inflation dropped 9.5 percent year-over-year in February from 9.8 percent in January. Analysts believe deflation will continue, with outright decline in domestic demand and consistent weak global commodity prices driving a normalisation of core and headline inflation.
