ABSTRACT
The article reports that Virgin Holidays Ltd. has cut costs across its business by 7% as a result of laying off 40 of its employees. The tour operating company said it had conducted a review of costs to meet the challenges of the current economic climate. The company's sources said that in addition to the cost savings identified as a result of this review, organizational changes have also been proposed, which will enable the company to maintain its strong market position in the future.
