ABSTRACT
The article reports on the study conducted by the Aluminum Association Inc. on aluminum mill products orders during January 2009 in Arlington, Virginia. The Index of Net New Orders of Aluminum Mill Products recorded an increase of 4.5% during the month. However, orders for other mill products showed a decline of 22.4%. New orders were also down by 26/9% compared to January 2008.
