Alberta creates electronic registry for personal directives

The article reports on the launching of the 24-hour electronic registry of Alberta which is administered by the Office of the Public Guardian. It states that this electronic registry is for health directives, advanced care directives and living wills, and the first province-wide electronic directory available 24/7. Moreover, the registry simply shows whether the person has a directive, displays the date it was signed, and provides individual's contact information for his or her agent.
