The article focuses on the Saints & Sinners Literary Festival (SASFest) devoted to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, to be held at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 14-17, 2009. According to SASFest founder and executive director Paul J. Willis, the festival draws together in one place those who are most interested in the future of LGBT literature. It notes that authors Michael Lowenthal and Elana Dykewomon will receive the James Duggins Mid-Career Author Award at the festival.
