ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the five realities of video surveillance. Mike Capulli of Samsung Group and GVI Security Solutions Inc. enumerates the benefits of video surveillance to the retailers, including providing the need for images retail/loss prevention managers, which offers lower budget compared to Internet Protocol (IP), eliminates the disbursement of fraudulent slips-and-falls, which is a major concern of retailers, and it can spot if there are traffic tie-ups or other problems.
